As an innovative fitness expert for more than 20 years, Tiffany Rothe’s passion for creative movement has taken her through jazz, modern dance, ballet, the aerobic craze, spinning, weight lifting and has culminated in her ultimately founding her own fitness studio, creating an exercise DVD and an online fitness program.
Tiffany Rothe was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. From age 3-17, she was a committed dancer, until at age 18, she discovered “fitness” and began teaching aerobics.
Realizing the profound effect exercise has on peoples’ lives, Tiffany became passionate about teaching classes and training people. However, Tiffany was interested in pursuing a career in law, therefore while continuing to work as a fitness trainer and instructor, she graduated cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1996; received a law degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in 1999 and independently studied nutrition at Santa Monica College. After graduating from USC, Tiffany decided not to practice law, and chose to focus on her passion of helping people change their lives through fitness.
Tiffany has worked in every aspect of the fitness industry, from sales to management, marketing and promotion, modeling, spokesperson, instructor, personal trainer and studio owner. She created an entirely new and exclusive exercise DVD called “The New Yoga Mat Workout” featured in Fitness Magazine, June 2010. Tiffany was a principle athlete and consultant for Planet Reeboks super bowl campaign in 1993; she was a model and spokesperson for Dance France from 1992-1994; she was featured in several fitness campaigns and videos including Crunch and Nike – “Instructors Across America;” she was a trainer for a Gatorade fitness promotion and she founded her company Rezults Training in 1996. Throughout her career, her classes have been consistently filled to capacity (with up to 300 attendees) and included students of all ages (from 15-82 years old), as well as a roster of celebrities such as “Dancing with the Star’s” host Samantha Harris, Ali Landry, Amy Brennaman, Alfre Woodard, Roma Downey, Miss Fitness America Amy Fadhli, Crisitian de la Fuente, as well as numerous others in LA’s entertainment industry.
In 2004, she moved to Mexico, became fluent in Spanish, opened her own fitness studio, Center 8 Studio, and has been featured on 20 consecutive fitness segments on the nation’s most popular morning program TV Azteca’s “Venga la Alegria.” Tiffany also created a teen outreach program called “El Reto,” where teens from various high schools competed in a vigorous 8-week challenge that tested their wills, improved their physical fitness, cultivated team building skills and taught them about proper nutrition.
Throughout her career, Tiffany has constantly packed her classrooms with students who were dedicated to her fitness philosophy: “Change your mind, change your body, change your life.” Tiffany helps get your mind in shape so that you can endure her sometimes demanding, ever-changing, however always fun, workouts. Every one admires the heart of an athlete. “I train the athlete inside all of my students. It doesn’t matter if you are old or young, overweight or slim, physically challenged to naturally endowed,” says Tiffany. “My classes and my training style will bring out the best in you.” Her strategy is simple-- lead with the mind, let the body follow, and let your dreams supersede all things. This holistic approach to fitness is the essence of Tiffany. She focuses on the whole person and she helps them reach goals they never thought possible. The words “I cant” are never allowed in her sessions and that “can do” attitude permeates the lives of all of her trainees.
Tiffany believes in studying her craft and continued education. As a result, she frequents a variety of different fitness classes and seminars around the world to improve her ability as an instructor and trainer; knowing that every great teacher is an excellent student. For example, to improve her boxing skill set, she trained with former heavy weight champion Mike Weaver and for safety and technique, she was certified by American Fitness Association of America. She has studied body mechanics and physiology in an extensive course with Dr. Paul Ward of Health and Tennis of America; mastered in-room cycling with Cris Costmans’ Adventure Corps and received her black belt in Tae Kwan Do - Tae Bo Kwan from her sensei Billy Blanks in 2009.
Tiffany has over 20 years experience and has spent over 30,000 hours helping people get in shape.
